No, drilling, fracking, disposal of fracking fluids, or disposal of any other fluids, or the extraction of fluids and gases from underground formations, or drought, none of these are causing the earthquakes!!!!!!

Earthquakes in this area have been common for a very, very long time. There have been quite a few for the last fifty years, for the last 500 years (refer to USGS Faulting Catalogue), for the last fifty thousand years, for the last fifty million years.

Ask any intelligent geologist (that excludes you if you work for the "greenies", and you know who you are!) and they will help explain that this area has had faulting and slippage (earthquakes) for millions of years and there is no reason that it will stop just because humans are here at the moment and have too much time on their hands and seem to have nothing better to do than cause stress for someone, somewhere.

Long before humans came along, and long after we're gone, the tectonic plate edges that created the entire bands of fault lines in the Wilcox, Eagle Ford, Austin Chalk, any formation of oil and/or gas bearing material that you care to name in the Texas Arches, have been slipping against each other, in a huge arch-shaped band, about 100 to 300 miles inland parallel to the Texas Coast from west to east.

Even a "Shallow" earthquake, which today's estimated 4.2 to 4.8 magnitude was reported to be, at roughly five miles beneath the surface (some in the area have been as deep as 29 miles beneath the surface), is still miles deeper than any well in the area and the majority of the 28 earthquakes in the past 50 years in the immediate area occurred long before any of the lateral wells or fracking or droughts or floods or disposal wells.

Honestly, you "green" people who want to take the easy road of not studying and comprehending the factual data, and only seem to want to try, by voicing an uneducated opinion, to scare everyone into being opposed to drilling because you think you know what you're talking about and you think your intentions are good, and you think you're going to save all the people from themselves, please do some real soul searching and ask your God why there have been earthquakes in this area for millions of years, and ask him to explain to you a reason you can give us for all of a sudden being able to blame the earthquakes on humans.

This ignorant arrogance of the "green police" is impacting society and the economies with a negativity that the perpetrators are obviously not capable of realizing. How can we make you look at yourselves and realize the harm you are doing?

These statements that drilling and franking are causing so many problems for the world needs to have a criminal consequence. You can't keep lying to the world thinking you are forgiven because "Your intentions are good."
